Yes, please do! Make sure you send us the booking form at least 2 days before you visit ElephantsWorld. When you send the booking form to us, we will confirm the reservation for your visit by email. Also inform your hotel at least 2 days before your visit to ElephantsWorld, preferably by reply to our confirmation email.
ElephantsWorld is a sanctuary for old, sick, abused, retired or rescued elephants. Most of our elephants have lived very hard lives and they come here to retire in peace. We offer the unique opportunity of interacting with these gentle animals, while learning about the Asian elephant. At ElephantsWorld our motto is “We work for the elephants, the elephants do not work for us!”

We will pick you up from your hotel in the city of Kanchanaburi around 9:00 - 9:30 AM and transport you to and from ElephantsWorld. Make sure you are ready in time.Own Taxi
You can arrange your own transportation if you wish at your own expense. Please arrive at ElephantsWorld before 10:00 AM to be on time for our day program. The journey will take approximately half an hour from the city of Kanchanaburi.Taxi
ElephantsWorld runs its own taxi service and for your convenience can take you to and from Bangkok. If you are coming from Bangkok, can recommend Sonti, we have had a lot of positive reviews from our visitors. Also, in our experience he is very trustworthy. We can book his private taxi for you. From outside of the city of Kanchanaburi
We ask you to arrange your own transport coming from outside of the city of Kanchanaburi. Your guesthouse or hotel that you are staying at can often help you with this.
Please bring a change of clothing (you will get dirty/wet!), sunscreen, hat, camera, mosquito repellent and flip flops. Children should bring closed shoes. If you want to make new friends, be sure to pack yellow bananas!
The program starts when we pick you up at your guesthouse around 9.00 - 9:30 AM. At 10.00 AM you will arrive at ElephantsWorld. The day ends at 4.00 PM and at that time we will bring you back to your guesthouse.
We ask visitors coming by own transport to be here at 10.00 AM, at that time we will start with our program.
