🧳 BACKGROUND : she started her life in the logging industry and then worked in trekking camps around Sangklaburi. It was Gaina’s owner who told Dr. Samart about Kat. He was able to buy her off and brought her here in 2018.
ℹ️ Facts about her: In the past Kat didn’t like to socialise and didn’t like people getting around her, but it is with her the we have seen the greatest change. She won’t mingle that much with the other elephants, but she has become friendly thanks to the trust and strong bond she built with her mahout. Kat likes her mahout a lot, she will always want to be close to him and she will do whatever he will ask her, she listen’s very well to him.
ℹ️ How to recognise her: she is always right by her mahout; her skin is darker than the other elephants and her eyes are more clear.
