BORN: 1960, in the Kanchanaburi Province.
BACKGROUND: she started her life in the logging industry and then went to a trekking camps for over 20 years. In her last camp, when the owner and her mahout saw her working conditions, he decided to give her a better life.
RETIREMENT: 
Gaina arrived at ElephantsWorld with her mahout, Chet, in August 2014. They have been together for over 20 years. Gaina is friends with Nemochi and NorKoTok, they know each other from the trekking camp where they worked before.
