BACKGROUND : When his mom Boyok gave birth to Sai Yok, their owner decided they would like to find a peaceful place for them both and decided to bring both to us in April 2018, when Sai Yok was just 2 months old !

Facts about him: Don’t be fooled by the cute looks, young elephants are as smart as they are cheeky. Even if they have that face you want to squeeze and cuddle… he will squeeze harder ! Very much like our human children, they are very playful, they will splash in water , snorkel , mock-charge, etc. to develop their physical and social skills. They are also always looking for the next naughty thing to do and always testing the limits.

How to recognise him: of course by his little size, but also by his sweet growing tusks, which also indicate that he is a male !
